Frederick County Pediatrics, LLC (aka Fredcokids) is committed to providing quality, comprehensive pediatric care to all patients from birth through young adult. Philosophically, our training and delivery of care is based on the most current, scientifically based professional and medical guidelines and recommendations.
Our focus of care is patient and family oriented. We place a high value on making the patient’s medical encounter as personalized and comfortable as possible. We prioritize patient relations and communication and offer experienced and professional care at all phases of a patient visit. We are committed to offering timely and appropriate appointments at times that meet patient and family needs. As a solo practice, we feel we can more easily get to know, remember and understand our patients better and on a more personal level.

Dr. James P. Lee:
Dr James P. Lee has been a pediatrician in Frederick County for over 20 years as a member of a group practice. He provides both acute and chronic medical care in addition to comprehensive well visits from birth through young adult. He is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of all the common pediatric chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes and allergy and is also knowledgeable in the management of a wide variety of childhood behavioral/mental health conditions. Additionally, Dr Lee has a special interest in sports related acute and chronic conditions and childhood obesity.
Professionally, he is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is on staff and is an attending physician at Frederick Memorial Hospital. More recently he was instrumental in creating a community based pediatric weight control program (The Healthy Weigh) and currently serves as vice chair for the Frederick County Public School’s School Health Council. An avid runner himself, Dr Lee previously coached cross country and track & field at a local high school for several years. He is the father of two grown children. Dr Lee has lived in Frederick County since 1986.
