New & Transferring Families
We have had an unexpected uptick in requests to join our practice. We are trying to accommodate new families as best we can, however we are a small practice and feel an obligation to grow slowly so we can continue to respect the needs of our current families.
We have a care coordinator who can assist new & transferring families to determine if we are the right practice for your family. We will see newborns as they arrive, however, as of now, we do not have transferring patient appointments until March 2020 and beyond.
We are a small but comprehensive pediatric practice located in New Market, MD. Our mission is to provide high quality care on a personalized basis. We feel a smaller practice size optimizes personal interaction and understanding. We really hope to get to know one another and we strive for family based involvement that promotes education, communication and respectful care. We practice evidence based medicine and are committed to practice parameters developed and supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
We are strong advocates for preventative care and feel that our mission extends beyond individual care to promote and support family and community involvement in our day to day lives.
We are available for an office tour or complimentary meet and greet appointment if you have a specific medical concern about your child that you want us to be made aware of. We want your family to be comfortable that we are the right practice for you.
Please be aware that we support and view childhood vaccines as a cornerstone of preventative, quality care and encourage you to review our vaccine policy.
We participate with most of the major commercial insurance companies and also many of the Maryland State medical assistance programs. (We do not participate with traditional Kaiser, University of Maryland Health Partners or Aetna Better Health Medicaid.) Please contact our office to confirm participation with your plan and to speak to our care coordinator before transferring records.
New Patient Forms
If you have a previous pediatrician or provider, a signed Medical Records Release form is necessary for us to request your child’s records.
Please call our office to speak with our care coordinator who will register your child and make your first appointment. Our care coordinator will also help ensure your child’s records have been transferred in before their first appointment.
