Docs in the Park Summer Events

Frederick County Pediatrics is proud of its collaboration with Frederick County Parks and Recreation in planning and promoting Docs in the Park, and we want to highlight two upcoming events that children and families can enjoy!

Docs in the Park Nature Series

Get up close and personal as we check out various county parks with a 90 minute guided tour with a Parks and Recreation Naturalist!  It’s a great way for families of all ages to get outside, see our parks and learn more about the world around.  Who knows, maybe you’ll see one of us out there.

Wegmans Passport to Family Wellness & The Docs in the Park Quest

Do you want a fun summer activity for kids of all ages that you can do anytime, is free, and gets you outside to visit our local parks?  Wegmans has teamed up with Frederick County Parks and Recreation to create a Quest. 

The Passports give a description of 11 trails and parks located in Frederick County and Passports are either available at our office, or you can get yours at the kick off at Fountain Rock Park on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.  Wegmans is sponsoring breakfast at the kick off and prizes for those completing the Quest.
