The novel coronavirus that has taken our nation by storm has changed the way we live our lives. Wearing masks to the stores that are open, teleworking from home, navigating the waters of distance learning, and spending time family and friends on zoom.

Sheltering-in-place, however, does not mean staying inside, self-isolating, and relying on technology to entertain us through this pandemic.

Now more than ever we need to stay healthy and active. Following the 5-2-1-0 plan created by Live Well Frederick is a great place to start. The 5-2-1-0 program is designed to help you and your family grow stronger, smarter, and healthier together.

Staying Active

Staying active is a key element to a healthy lifestyle. Not only does it help your body physically, but mentally, too.
Moving your body is a natural way to improve our mental health.

A great way to get the kids active during COVID quarantine and those rainy days when you can’t go outside is Cosmic Kids Yoga!
( Yoga, mindfulness, and relaxation designed especially for kids aged 3+, used in schools and homes all over the world. )
