Adrienne Harmel, CPNP

Adrienne has been practicing in the field of nursing since 2001. Prior to obtaining her certification as a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse in pediatric intensive care, pediatric hematology/oncology as well pediatric psychiatry.  She received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2008, and has been practicing in Frederick and Loudoun County for 8 years. She recently served as the president of the Maryland Chesapeake chapter of NAPNAP (National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners). Adrienne has a Bachelors degree in Spanish from the University of Maryland College Park. Her professional interests include lactation medicine, as well as childhood nutrition and wellness.

Adrienne is originally from Baltimore, MD. She lives in Leesburg, VA with her husband, her daughter and her dog. In her free time she enjoys reading, fitness, gardening and traveling.
